Mr. Hundogan, Sewanu Temitope- PERMANENT SECRETARY
Mr. Hundogan, Sewanu Temitope was born in Badagry Local Government of Lagos State on 15th January, 1965. He is the First child of Mr. Hundogan, Joshua Todeyon (of blessed memory) and Mrs. Hundogan,Modupe Funmilola of Ganho Quarters, Badagry Lagos State.
He started his Elementary Education at Methodist Primary School, Ikorodu and later SS Peter and Paul Primary School Somolu Between 1971 and 1977. He attended Victory High School, Abule Onigbagbo, Ikeja and later Igbobi College III, Yaba, between 1977-1982, where he obtained his West African School Certificate. He proceeded to Baptist Academy for his Higher School Certificate between 1982-1985. He gained admission to Yaba College of Technology to study Accountancy in 1986.
On completion of the study, he was awarded a Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate in 1991. He passed the final stage of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in May 1994 and was conferredas an Associate Member of the Institute (ACA) in May1995. He was elected Fellow of the Institute in April 2013. In 1997, he did his Master of Business administration (MBA) degree from the prestigious Lagos State University, specialising in international Finance.
Mr Hundogan started his Public Service Career in 1993 as a Principal Account Assistant IV, GL 08. He was advanced to the post of Accountant 1 in 1995, after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. In the course of his career, he had worked in various capacities in different Ministries and Agencies which include Office of the Accountant General (1993-1994), State Commission for Women (1994-1997), Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning (1997-1998), Parastatals Monitoring Office (1998-1999), Technical Aid Department of Ministry of Economic Planning and Budgeting (1999-2004), State Treasury Office (2004-2011), Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (2011-2015), Office Of Finance (2015-2017), Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives (2011-2019) State Treasury Office. (2019-2021).
He was appointed Permanent Secretary Audit Service Commission by the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu on the 28th of January 2021 and inaugurated on the 5th of February, 2021.
He was redeployed to Ministry of Finance and resumed on, Friday, 29th October, 2021.
Mr Hundogan Sewanu Temitope is happily married with children.
